These terms cover Formware accounts, every Formware tool, and checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for purchases on formware.app. Gumroad and Superhive are the merchant when you buy there.
These Terms of Service are between you and Formware, the operator of formware.app and the Formware account, website, and software described here. They apply to every Formware product, not only one tool.
When you buy on formware.app, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. Lemon processes the payment, collects applicable tax, and issues the receipt. After Lemon confirms a valid order, Formware grants the software entitlement to your Formware account.
When you buy on Gumroad or Superhive, that store is the merchant of that sale. Formware grants access after the order is valid and you unlock it on a Formware account.
You create a Formware account with Google or an email sign-in link. You must be able to use the email address you sign in with, and you are responsible for activity on that account.
A Formware account is for one person. Do not share your login or device approval. Where a product uses teammate seats, those people need their own Formware account and a seat you invite them to.
A paid Formware product is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, unless that product’s page says otherwise. You pay once for a Formware entitlement to that product.
Access is bound to your Formware account. Downloads and updates come from your account while the purchase remains valid.
A refund, chargeback, or revoked order ends that entitlement. Seat rules, where a product has them, are in the product section below.
Formware tools include lifetime free updates for the product you purchased. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the original product while it is maintained by Formware.
This means that if an update is released for that product, you can download and use that update at no extra cost. Lifetime free updates do not guarantee that updates will be created or released.
Updates are generally made available from within the tool’s UI, through your account, or through another download method provided by Formware. We do not guarantee that every previous delivery method will remain available indefinitely.
Lifetime free updates are available to customers who hold a valid license for the original product that has not been refunded or revoked.
Lifetime free updates do not guarantee lifetime compatibility support. Some Formware tools depend on third-party software, such as operating systems, host applications, plugins, or add-ons. If changes to those platforms affect a Formware tool, we may, at our discretion, release an update to restore compatibility. However, we do not guarantee support for every future version or compatibility updates whenever host application changes break existing functionality.
Products may also evolve over time. A tool may be split into separate products, merged into another product, forked into a new product, or lead to related side tools. These new or separate products are not automatically included for free under the original product’s lifetime free updates.
Customers may contact Formware for product support, questions, and bug reports through the support channels we provide.
We review support requests and bug reports to help maintain and improve our tools. When appropriate, we may provide troubleshooting help, usage guidance, workarounds, or fixes in a future update.
Support does not guarantee that every issue will be fixed, that every requested feature will be added, or that compatibility support will be provided for every third-party software change. Support availability, response times, and the scope of assistance may vary depending on the product, issue, and current maintenance status.
Do not probe, overload, or circumvent Formware services, device seats, or paywalls. Do not use the site or a Formware tool to break the law, to harass others, or to redistribute proprietary Formware software.
We may suspend or end access if an order is refunded or charged back, if seats are abused, or if these terms are broken.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use of Formware after a change means you accept the updated terms.

VectorPush is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once for a Formware entitlement to that product.
Access is bound to your Formware account. The plugin does not use a serial key. Downloads, seats, and updates come from your account while the purchase remains valid.
A refund, chargeback, or revoked order ends that entitlement. One seat is included for the buyer. Extra seats are other Formware accounts you invite. The buyer may also unlock one extra personal device on the same account.
The Illustrator CEP panel, installers, and Formware account/update service are proprietary Formware software. They are not GPL.
Your purchase grants a non-exclusive license to install and use those parts for the product you bought, on the seats in your account, while the entitlement is active. The included seat is yours. Paid extra seats are for other Formware accounts you invite, each with one device. A free second device is personal-only and is not a teammate seat.
You may not redistribute the Illustrator panel or installer, share Formware credentials, or use them to provide VectorPush to others outside the seats on your account.
The VectorPush Blender extension is licensed under GNU GPL-3.0-or-later. Blender requires this because the add-on uses Blender’s Python API.
You may use, study, share, and modify that Blender add-on under GPL-3.0-or-later. Paying for VectorPush does not replace the GPL for that add-on.
The GPL covers the Blender extension as shipped, including its LICENSE file. It does not re-license the Illustrator panel, installers, or Formware service.
The VectorPush panel and updater contact formware.app to sign in a device, check your entitlement, download updates, and send optional usage telemetry.
You may opt out of plugin telemetry in VectorPush Preferences. Opting out does not remove the need for the plugin to reach formware.app for login, licenses, and updates.
Glare is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You can buy it on formware.app through Lemon Squeezy, or from Gumroad or Superhive. After a store confirms a valid order, Formware grants the entitlement to the Formware account you buy or unlock it on.
Seats work the way they do for VectorPush: each seat is one computer signed in to your Formware account. Glare runs through the free Formware Blender Portal. Install the Portal, sign in to your Formware account, then add Glare from it. The Portal checks your account and seat, and a refund or chargeback ends your access.
The Glare Blender add-on is licensed under GNU GPL-3.0-or-later, because it is a Blender extension. Paying for Glare does not replace the GPL for that add-on.
You may use, study, share, and modify that Blender add-on under GPL-3.0-or-later. The GPL covers the add-on as shipped. It does not re-license the Formware account or update service.
The Formware account and update service are proprietary Formware software. They are not GPL.
You may not redistribute Formware credentials or the update service, or use them to provide Glare to others outside your own account.
Formware Blender Portal is free. It is not a paid license and it does not include Glare, VectorPush, or any other Formware tool.
The portal add-on is licensed under GNU GPL-3.0-or-later, because it uses Blender’s Python API.
Signing in lets the portal install and update tools your Formware account already has. The Formware account service itself is proprietary.
