Compatibility
Each Formware tool names the operating systems and host applications it supports. That range lives on the tool’s product page, and it can move when we ship an update.
Where to check
Open the product page for the tool you use. The live compatibility line is the current range — operating system, host apps, and versions.
Stay on a combination in that range. Newer host releases may work, and they may also need a Formware update first. See Updates for how compatibility updates are handled.
Host applications
Formware tools run inside other software: design apps, 3D apps, and the operating system. We test the versions listed on the product page.
A tool may support more than one host. Each host can have its own floor and ceiling. If a host is not listed, it is outside that tool.
Limits and extra steps
Some features need extra steps, or they are not supported yet. Those notes live on the product page next to compatibility, because they are specific to that tool.
Lifetime free updates do not mean every future host version will keep working. If a host change breaks a tool, Formware may ship a fix, and may also leave that version outside the product we maintain.
